My name is Alta Bezuidenhout

I live in that beautiful place on the bottom of the African Continent (If you still haven't caught on... South Africa)

I watch WAY too much TV, as can be seen in the variety of shows I've written for. My current passions lies with NCIS, CSI, BSG, Numb3rs, and recently found a new love for Stargate Atlantis and SG1, I'll also watch GA and ER if I've got nothing else to do.

One last thing, English isn't my first language (Afrikaans is), although my job consists mostly of reading through English documents. But that doesn't stop the obvious Grammar mistakes, if you see any grammatical or spelling errors that just screams to be fixed please let me know that I can fix it, Thanks!.

September 2007 Update

Anybody happening upon my profile that may be wondering where my WIP's have dissapeared to, after careful consideration I've decided to remove all WIP's for now, in order to seriously start completing them, as well as edit the parts already written.

For those that had reviewed these stories, thank you tremendolously, from the bottom of my heart, and believe me it was with a heavy heart that I decided to take this step, your words had always touched me, but I didn't feel it fair to have people read fics that haven't been finished yet, and may only be finished in years to come (I will try to finish everything I've started, with only two exceptions (which were two of my first fics, in a genre I no longer support or remotely care for... 7th Heaven)).

Again, sorry for those who had taken the time to review, it has always been much appreciated, but I do believe this step was for the best. I'll also start editing the one-shots posted on this site within the following few weeks. Hopefully, for the better.

September 2011 Update

Wow, I haven't been here in forever.

Things have changed a lot since my last update. I am now a full-time student (third year Physiotherapy), and am quite busy as a result. I will however start writing again soon, hopefully the upcoming holidays will be a good incentive to get the writing juices flowing once more.

New passions, where I'll probably spend most of my time writing, include: Stargate (Both SG1 and Atlantis); Fringe; Big Bang Theory; HIMYM and Glee.
