Vikingr: a very old Germanic word meaning "explorer." It's from this root that we get the modern word "viking."

Likes: karate; parkour; bouldering; fantasy and science fiction; animals (even the ones most people consider creepy, like spiders); rock and roll; country music

Dislikes: frilly, sparkly, impractical clothing; techno or rap music

Skills: various arts and crafts; near-photographic memory

Favourite Anime/Manga: One Piece, Hetalia, Naruto (before it went nuts; also, I ignore the existence of the epilogue and Boruto), Fairy Tail (up to the second timeskip), Rurouni Kenshin, Ranma 1/2, Claymore, Black Cat

I've seen a version of this for boys around this site, but not one for girls. So I made my own; not sure how well it applies to others though.

Who am I?

I am the girl... Who went to her brown-belt grading instead of her prom. I am the girl who can barely speak even to people I know. I am the girl who spends most of her free time reading and writing, but also fighting, climbing, and other things most people consider unladylike. I am the girl people call weird or a freak, to my back and to my face. I am the girl who doesn't go on Instagram, or Snapchat, or Twitter, and who doesn't have a thousand Facebook friends. I am the girl whose sole relationship started and ended with a game of Dungeons and Dragons. I am the girl who has to climb every rock and tree, who runs around without a coat in the winter, and goes out in the forest to sing in the rain.

I am the girl who has learned to take pride in all this. Who knows that "weird" or "insane" can be a compliment, who takes things slow and takes pride in tradition and loyalty over innovation. I am the girl who takes pleasure in doing something just because I can, whether or not society says it's what a girl should do.

Copy and paste this to your account- and add your name to the list- if you are anything like me, so the people who are different and unique can know in their weakest times that they are unique, but not alone. Vikingr

Never lets you see her cry
