Only if she were to be threatened at sword-point, tied up, and whisked away by a rogue, with only the world's most arrogant man to watch over her. Luckily, that wasn't very likely to happen...

Elizabeth awakes to find herself in a strange room, with a strange woman, and the very last man she ever wished to see again.

Pre-cannon, Emma and Mr Knightly joke about how people will think they are in love.

"Colonel Richard Fitzwilliam was not without a suspicion that Darcy perhaps mourned the separation from a certain young lady, whose presence he believed to be the cause of his cousin's recent odd behavior... 'Tell me, Darcy," he finally interrupted the dark man's musings, "is your sour mood a result of regretting leaving a certain young lady behind'"

"It is a truth almost universally ignored that the opinions of society are fickle and subject to change without notice or acknowledgment." In which the society around Meryton comes to new conclusions about the character of Mr. Darcy, and concludes that they have always felt that way after all.

That April was unusually wet. Being caught in the rain leaves Darcy and Elizabeth sick, and with a lot to think about. ONE SHOT

Elizabeth is knocked unconscious during her walk with the Colonel at Rosings. This "what if" starts before Darcy has the chance to propose. This story is about the ensuing journey the characters have to go through to fall in love. Incomplete, as yet.

What if Georgiana had been at Netherfield? How would it change the story?

When Miss Lydia Bennet is attacked on the road to Meryton on the morning after the Netherfield Ball, suspicions arise on all fronts. Was it a local tradesman's son? Highwaymen? Are the militia men responsible, or will they be the ones to apprehend the murderer? And why has the Netherfield party run off to London the morning after their ball? Truly, a most untoward circumstance...

Elizabeth, disguised as Elliot Bennet, attends Cambridge in the same years as Darcy. Soon, events force them to room together. Banter, arguments, mischief, and a hint of a blossoming College romance ahead! Regency Era.

Another single young man moves into the neighborhood. Mr. Darcy experiences jealousy for the first time, Charlotte questions her own views on marriage, and Mrs. Bennet wins an argument. The story begins when Jane is sick at Netherfield.

"If only I had learnt to be a lady," Elizabeth whispered, "then perhaps I might be fit to marry, but as it is, I am not." Is it possible for a man, even one such as Fitzwilliam Darcy, to change her mind?

Georgiana comes with Darcy to Netherfield. Elizabeth thinks Jane would be an ideal wife for Darcy, but Darcy himself has other ideas after seeing her interact with his hurting sister. (17 November 2015: I'm hoping to update soon; just published my first novel, and now have some more time to finish this story!)

AU- What if Elizabeth, in a fit of spite, accepted Darcy when he proposed to her the first time. What if her Father was in failing health and in securing Darcy's hand she could not only raise her family's standard of living, but plague Darcy's life!

"I ask you once and for all Miss Bennet! Has my nephew made you an offer of marriage?" Elizabeth was tired of this particular form of questioning, "Yes, he has," she finally admitted.

The revelation of Mr. Collins's philosophy on proposals, during a celebration of our two heroes' engagements. Not to be confused with serious plotting. Rated for mention of wine and its possible effects. One shot.

This story is set after Lydia's marriage, and just as Mr Bingley and Mr Darcy are returning to Netherfield.Everything is canon up until this point, except that we find that Lizzie has a new suitor. What will happen when her mother interferes?
