Shunsui Kyouraku picked up a baby on his way home from a mission, changing the lives of those around him, particularly a young girl named Rukia. This is a collection of short stories revolving around her, the Kyouraku family and their friends. This is also a journey of how she would eventually cross paths with Byakuya Kuchiki. Rukia is drawn to a voice she hears and finds herself intrigued by him. Little did she know he was Grimmjow, famous MMA fighter and when he laid eyes on her, he didn't think much of her.
