![]() Basics Nickname: Call me Navigator, The Navigator, or Supreme Overlord. Whatever floats your boat. Age: Old enough to be mature, young enough to still be stereotyped by collage students. Gender: Female. No question about that. Personality: Critical, self-doubting, and I seem to come of as brash. But really, I'm more of a people person. I know it's hard to belive, but trust me. Favorites Books: Honestly, I love a lot of books. Most recently, I've fallen in love with The Count of Monte-Cristo by Alexandre Dumas, Graceling bt Kristin Cashore, The Lies of Locke Lamora and Red Skies Under Red Seas by Scott Lynch, The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss, The Cirque du Freak Series by Darren Shan, and Good Omens by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett. Yeah, that's off the top of my head. I probably could think of more. Movies: Hands down, my favorite movies of all time have to be The Lord of the Rings movies. I love them. Pet Peeves and Dislikes Rape: No. I hate reading stories where rape is involved, and I really hate it when the character falls for the rapist. When people get raped, they contimplate SUICIDE. If something has 'suprise sex, that s/he didn't know s/he wanted' I stop reading. It's a huge turn-off. Seme/Uke Complex: Don't get me wrong. I really like yaoi. It's when the uke is a girl with a penis that frustrates me. I know gay couples, and got a little shock when I found out that the guy whose a stereotypical uke topped in one of them. Really, it's all about what the couple perfers. Not every macho-man tops, and not every flamboyant man bottoms. Quotes "Crowley: An angel who didn't fall as musch as saunter vaugly donward"- Good Omens "Apparently being queer is a disease. And that means I can call into work sick from it. 'Yeah boss can't came in today. Yeah, I'm still queer.'"- Unknown "There are 72,519 stones in my walls. I've counted them many times." "Yes but have you named them yet?"- The Count of Monte-Cristo (movie) "Now you're thinking, just now "Why me, O God?". The answer is, God has nothing to do with it. In fact, God is never in France this time of year."- The Count of Monte-Cristo (movie) "We watch you and Jacopo fight to the death. If Jacopo wins, we welcome him back to the crew. If you win, I have given Jacopo the chance to live, even if he did not take advantage of it, and you can take his place on the boat." "What if I win and I don't want to be a smuggler?" "Then we slit your throat, and we're a bit shorthanded."-The Count of Monte-Cristo (movie) In all honesty, I probably won't write a damn thing. I tend to procrastinate and would rather read then write. I only came here becuase a friend of mine begged me to get an account (Said friend's pen name is Boys-R-US.) |
