Hey there, I'm Mel. I'm Australian and dang proud of it =P. . I am a huge reader; my fave authors are Dean Koontz, Mathew Reilly, Richard Laymon and some unknown authors I'm sure most you haven't heard of before.

I am a fan of Stephanie Meyer but mainly for her stand-alone book The Host. However I will admit that I did enjoy reading the Twilight series but have no plans to read it again. I think she made a big mistake (Bella should go with Jacob but I did enjoy the final book.).I am definitely not a Twihard and i reserve the right to poke fun at them. And I don't care if y'all decide to send me hate mail or what-not if you are a Twihard; good for you. But just remember as I said I do like the Books just not enough to stab someone with a fork if they tell me they don't like it.

If there are any words you don't understand in my stories I'm sorry, I tried my best to make it as easy for most people to read but I may have let a few Aussie slang words in there (sorry).

I am also a HUGE fan of the Harry Potter series; I know this is probly cliché but YAY RON AND HERMIONE! Sorry I had to. Anyway I am planning on doing a HP one as well it will mainly be based on the last book but I am going to introduce a few new twists and characters. I have started to write it but I like to do a hard copy as well as on the computer in case they get deleted or some other terrible thing happens.

Anyway back to moi! I'm not up myself or anything like that, I am actually fairly laid-back. Don't take that to mean I wont update all the time because 'I can't be bothered' or some other cruddy story like that. If I'm slow in updating it would most probably be because I am having writer's block or haven't had a chance to type it up on the computer yet.

My twilight series will start off with a few short chapters but that too is because I haven't typed it up yet. I actually have a lot written down and just haven't typed it up yet. I would guess at about 3 shortish chapters to start and then I have a few longer ones.

If there is anything else you would like to know about me I would gladly answer and please don't forget the CONSTRUCTIVE criticism in reviews and messages. It would mean a lot to me if I could get some.
