My sincerest apologies to all for my lack of activity. Quite a bit has happened over the course of 2 months, and I'm now just settling back down to write. I've been working on the In Shackles Reboot and ran into a wall with it. But I've resolved the issue and I'm going to edit part of what I've written for Chapter 1 and post it hopefully tonight. The hardest part is getting started, but if I can get it up (at last), then maybe that will give me the push I need to keep updating.

My, has it been a long time, or what? I've decided that I want more out of life than what I'm doing now, and so, I'm back here once more to indulge in my writer's fantasies, and to share them with you. So, here's the deal. I work seven days a week, and thus I have so very little time for writing, let alone sleep. Crazy, right? That's what's kept me away from here for so long, as well as other factors (e.g. family circumstances, sleep deprivation, writer's block, etc.). However, despite all that, I'm determined to start updating more frequently. To start things off, I'm going to work on the In Shackles Reboot, which is going to be way better than the original (i.e. more plot, less gratuitous amounts of sex for absolutely no reason). I like lemons as much as the next person, but they can get a bit tedious when writing them over and over again. In addition to that, I'll be introducing a story I haven't touched in ages, but has been on the brain recently: What One Miko Desires. This is Kikyo/Onigumo pairing, which is weird, even by my standards, but I really wanted to play around with the storyline leading up to Kikyo's death and Inuyasha being sealed to the tree. It should be interesting to say the least, and I hope you'll suspend your disbelief and give this story a try.

But enough rambling. Starting this month, I'll be posting 2 chapters for each of these stories then rotating to another pair of stories that I'll also post 2 chapters for in the following month. Here's the list of the stories to follow In Shackles and What One Miko Desires:

Now, instead of arbitrarily selecting the stories I'm going to work on from April on, I'd like your input. I'm posting a poll on my profile page, so that you, my lovely, supportive group of readers, can select which pair of stories you would like me to work on next. Notice I paired new, or fairly new stories, to each of the older ones I haven't updated. I'll close the poll on the 23rd of each month, and announce the winner on the 24th, which gives you all plenty of time to select the pair of stories that interest you. I look forward to hearing your thoughts and comments about In Shackles (the reboot) and What One Miko Desires, and all the stories to follow.
