It was “Cec” Ennis and his brother-in-law Bill Petersen that began the Ennis Furniture tradition in Boise in a converted livery stable at the corner of 23rd and Fairview in downtown Boise. Dick and Mary Lou Ennis carry on the Boise furniture legacy from that same location—although the livery stable has been updated to a modern and beautiful furniture showroom that features Drexel/Henredon/Thomasville furniture lines.
