![]() Author has written 13 stories for Gundam Wing/AC, Weiss Kreuz, and Yami no Matsuei. I've recently graduated from college with a degree in English Lit (which mostly means I'd rather read fanfiction than write it, so don't expect much from me). This past Winter/Spring ('07) I lived in London, England and find myself desperate to go back. England is a beautiful, wonderful country and I feel like I left a piece of my heart there. Hopefully, if all goes according to plan, I can get my PhD from King's College, London in Medieval Paleography and stick around permanently. For now, I am stuck in a mundane job that serves mostly as a means of paying off all my trips around the British Isles and helps me save up for Japan, which, if all goes according to plan, I'll get to go there and live in for a year. What can I say, I love to travel. I am providing all of this silly information mostly to highlight where I may be coming from in my writing. I have a solid foundation in English Lit and a desperate love for the country itself. Yet, at the same time, I've taken 2 years of Japanese in college and have studied the culture extensively. To top it off, I'm obsessed with Medieval Europe. So, don't be surprised if my stories have characters spouting Shakespeare, while... wielding a katana in Medieval England?! o.O Nah. But I'm sure some of it will trickle in every now and again. I should also warn you that, with a background in Japanese, I shall constantly stick to the Japanese names of characters if there is a choice (Lita is truly a disgusting name, even if Makoto usually belongs to boys) and I may occasionally fall to the blunder of using random Japanese phrasing in my works. I shall endeavour not to, but it can happen. I see myself using Latin more because it's quite mystical and mysterious (and simply because, after 4 years of it in HS, I'll do anything I can to use it) But, I give you my promise that I shall never, ever introduce a character named "Jessica" or some-such into a story that is supposedly taking place in Japan. That's just silly. Also, I am disgustingly liberal, so homosexual relationships may flourish in my writing. In fact, I'm quite positive, save some random Sailor Moon fanfiction, that's ALL you'll be seeing. Yaoi is so pretty!! And disregard my earlier work, especially those under the classification of my "Leo" pseudonym. They are truly rubbish and written in my angsty, teenage years and thus should be seen by no one. I only keep them around for posterity's's sake. Anyway, thank you for reading and enjoy the ride! |
