Just a note for those who have been following some of my stories. No I have not abandoned them.

Oh how I wish I was writing to say 'I'm back!', as there is a large part of me that wants to be, but life once again has gotten in the way.

Somethings are too hard to write when you are happy and my story Cyberia was born in a dark place in my life. Things began to get better and I found it harder and harder to reach that place. I can't say I'm sorry about that, it's a place no one wants to be for long. Then I started to get sick and had no energy, even when I had an attack of the plot bunnies, I had no energy to do anything about it. After 9 months and during routine blood work I was admitted to the hospital. No one is sure when, why or how, but at the ripe old age of 33 I was diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer. The upside, I had a reason for why I had felt like hell for so long. The downside, my long term prognosis isn't stellar. I'm currently on 3 types of chemotherapy some of which sucks the life out of me and has zapped most of my braincells. They aren't joking when they refer to 'chemo brain'. It's also given me a short attention span so working on my own stuff is hard. Finally some angst to fuel my darker writings (um yay?) but no will power.

So if you are looking for a Beta, I am still accepting stories. Editing is my first love, and I have found it to be a happy medium between writing and doing nothing. But I'm afraid my own works will have to continue to grow dusty.
