Summary: "In the presence of light, there is no darkness..." A distant world slowly crashed down before her eyes, gazing at the lifelessness of a world full of dreams and life. Everything was in ruins. Buildings crumbling, fires increasing, screams of death heard everywhere, and five important peopledisappears by some unknown force. So heartfelt and heart wrenching, she felt as if she was in that world. But, as real as it looks, its only a dream, and she wakes up and starts her day. Meet Hitomi Kanzaki. An average 16 year old girl. She is like most normal girls: Going to school, having a part time job, cramming before exams, hanging with friends, shopping, thinking about boys, reaching goals, thinking about boys, joiningschool organizations, improving home economics, thinking about her dream to become a successful wife, girl problems, and did I mention thinking about boys? You might say her life is...well...boring. And she is quite content with the life she has. Yet, one day,her life was soon turned around on a beautiful spring day when she crashes into a mysterious young man in her usual attempts to get into school on time. And, in that very moment, she stumbles upon a gorgeous and mysterious pink pendant. Now, her average life is no more. Wierd creatures attack her and attempted to kidnap her, for reasons she does not know, mysterious powers that she is progressingly inheriting as the days go by, dreams of a once beauitful world repeatedly reoccuring one night after another, being late to school (even though she is technically always late, but in her opinion she thinks she id...), dealing with new peoplewho suddenly appear in her life,ahandsome blonde college boy who appears in her school, apretty, iris eyed, wavy blonde hair girlfighting to win theaffections of thatcollegeboy, a brown haired, shabby looking arcademanager with glasses who pops out of nowhere, a cold, reserved young man with unruly black hair and very handsome features (in her opinion) comes in her life as she constantly crashes into him, and a mysterious stranger with fighting abilities andmagiclike no other suddenlyprotecting her from the creatures attacking. What may seem like wierd occurences will soon turn as Hitomi finds out that these events lead into one bigger dilemma; saving the universe. Note: This story will contain two arcs. I'm not sure how many chapters in between these arcs. The plot for part 1 is done, now I just need to focus on writing it. This first part will discuss mostly about the main characters. There will be character development and some adventure and action. Some drama and angst will be in this part as well as romance of course. Part 2 will be different as it will actually start the true adventure. There will be ALOT more character development in this part as well as more adventure, angst, drama, and so forth. Story inspired by Utada Hikaru's song "Beautiful World." I was listening to the song while writing out this fic. Hopefully I captured the mood.
