09/15/2015: Oh Hai everybody! Been a hot minute since I checked in and updated you on what I'm up to. Currently working on the second chapter of Truth is Stranger (because apparently nearly four years later I find inspiration to write that again...) And struggling with Cataclysm and Catalyst (which would probably be why I'm doing so well with TIS) It's almost done, have a few more paragraphs before I proof read it like three million times (missing plenty of mistakes along the way anyways) and I'll post that for the patient ducklings who followed it and forgot it. The evil part of me wonders how many people will go into cardiac arrest at seeing it pop to the top of their favorite story list. :}

07/10/2015: Just to keep everyone abreast of what's happening. I have included two links at the top of the page. I may be indulging in self promotion just a bit. Now before you go getting all excited and clicking on these links expecting greatness I should warn you. Both accounts are fairly new. My fictionpress holds mostly short stories or story fragments that I fully intend to edit and update at a later time. My Deviantart page is also fairly new, devoted more towards cosplays and props that I make in my not so copious spare time. It's not very populated right now. You have been warned. On the Fanfiction front I am muddling my way through the next chapter of Catalyst, kind of getting side tracked with other projects, so work is slow on that front. But I am working on it! Don't lose faith in me yet! I am determined to finish this one. I have the beginning and the end visualized, I am just struggling with what comes in between. A friend of mine calls this the Oreo problem, stuck on the filling.

04/14/2015: And the twiddling commences. I have just updated Cataclysm, and have avoided the newest chapter of Catalyst (half finished as it is) like the plague simply because I find it feels too stiff and I really don't want to deal with it right now. Poor authoring? Yes. Yes it is. Am I ashamed. Nope. Not even a smidgeon. It can sit there and angst for a few more months while I gather my wits. I would like to give a shout out to two reviewers who gave me warm and fuzzies with their long fantastic constructive reviews. Hwi-Noree and Kefalion. You both left me awesome reviews, pointed out some plot flaws and mistakes and I thank you both for it profusely. To all those that reviewed the story and told me what an amazing job I was doing, I thank you all as well. You guys make me happy and have me walking on sunshine for hours after reading those reviews.

09/02/2014: So, I have started twiddling about with a new story (I know I am a bad author, with no focus or drive to finish what I started...) Catalyst is a HP/Hobbit crossover where Harry, Ron and Hermione get pulled into Middle earth at the beginning of the Dwarven company's quest. I wanted to do something along these lines for a while now so this should be fun! Warning, it turned out a little darker than I originally intended...I abuse poor Harry so badly.

On an unrelated note, I managed to revive my old laptop, and rescue the files on it. So I have my old work on Defy the Stars and whoo boy did I go in two different directions with that. Yay for more sorting through what I want to do with it. You'd think it would be liberating to have options but I find that I am frustrated because of all the options I gave myself. Friggen Volturi are fluttering around doing whatever they please, like a great big flock of deadly glitter fairies. Is it bad when the author can hardly control the nefarious plots in her own story?

05/04/2014: Two profile updates within a week?! How lucky can you get?! Very, as it so happens I posted the first chapter of a new story, albeit a little rushed and probably not my best, Cataclysm. It's A teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle story, my first ever. Centering around a 'what if' concept. (despite hating to plant ideas in your pretty little minds using the ugly question 'what if' I'll outline it here) What if (shudder) April O'Neil hadn't covered the crime wave story and hadn't been mugged? this piece is centered on the 1987 animated series and kind of weaves in with the 2003 animated series as well as the live action movies. I'm excited about it in all honesty.

On another note, I'm still polishing the second chapter of Truth is Stranger. And I have a crud load of work left on the next chapter of Defy the stars...busy busy bee. That's me.

02/04/2014: WOW! Two year Hiatus on writing. My only excuse is that I've been busy with work, and attempting to go to college ontop of a full time job, well... Not much time for anything else. I am trying though guys! I lost my laptop(AKA: it died) and most of my work on Defy the Stars as a result, but I have a rough draft of chapter two for Truth is Stranger. I know it's not a consolation to those of you who have no desire to read that story, but...oh my, look a distraction!

Category: Crossover Harry Potter/The Hobbit

Pairing: None

Summary: In which Harry, Hermione, and Ron get sucked into Middle Earth by way of a defunct portkey on their way to the Quidditch World Cup. Set in the beginning of GoF/The Hobbit.

Author's Note: This is a current work in progress, and I am not satisfied with it quite yet. I have plot bunny babies like whoa and this one prevailed into more than some unfinished drabbles.

Cataclysm:

Category: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Pairing: April/???

Summary: April O’Neil has been dogging her boss for months to let her cover something more than just fluff stories. Bernie finally throws her a bone. It’s a lead in a fifteen year old cold case.

Truth is Stranger:

Category: Hellboy

Pairing: Hellboy/John Meyers

Summary: Rated M for Language. HB/JM There's a lot wrong in the life of John Meyers. Losing his girlfriend and finding out he's an androgynous winged creature straight out of ancient texts…well that's just the tip of the iceberg.

Update to story status: In the next chapter I'm diverting a bit more from the plotline. I know I chose to play it close to the script of the movie for chapter one, but I want to show character development for John in the second chapter. He's a little too hero worshipy in the first, though If I ran into Batman I'd probably stutter all over myself and be all hero worshipy too. The relationship between him and hellboy will develop slowly, I'm not keen on writing stories that rush the relationship.

Defy the Stars:

Category: Crossover HP/Twilight

Pairing: Edward Cullen/Harry Potter

Summary: The war is over, and to ensure that it stays that way, Harry has been tracking Deatheaters with Ron’s help. Needing a base of operations while he is in the States, Harry moves in with Remus and Tonks looking to bled in while Ron does some scouting. But with this Edward Cullen Boy acting strange can Harry stay unnoticed or will the Deatheaters find him? Harry Potter/Twilight Crossover EC/HP slash.

Update to story status: Urg, I need to start from scratch. Poor chapter six (the meager piece that I had started) has died with my old laptop. Moment of silence.
