![]() Just a admirer of good fan fiction. Maybe one day I will summon up the courage to post my own story, though it probably won't be on this websit. I have decided to make a list of Reverse Harem stories I found on other sites, namely Archive of our Own and Wattpad. Reverse Harem AO3
Some of you may have notice that a fairly new sub-genre of books have popped on sites like Amazon. For those who love Reverse Harem (I mean the kind where the heroine ends up with three or more males) and spends a bunch of time on fanfiction sites looking for them, there are now a whole bunch of original books/series that are Reverse Harem and a lot of them are fantastic! Here is list of some of the best ones that I have read. They all can be found on Amazon. I would recommend signing up for Kindle Unlimited. It will save you money. Reverse Harem Books 1. Ghost Bird Series by C.L Stone (There are currently 12 books and it features 1 girl and nine guys, but it really delves deep into the formation of the relationship. Trust me, it is worth it to read. It is in my top 3 and kind of has icon status for reverse harem books. This author has also publish another series set in this universe, the Scarab beetle series. It is more "adult" than the "Ghost Bird series". I am not adding this to my list because I personally didn't really connect with the protagonist and "Scarab Beetle" isn't as popular as "Ghost Bird". Fans of Ghost Bird can read some great fanfictions stories on Wattpad). 2. The Nora Jacobs series by Jackie May (There are only two books, urban fantasy, currently in the series and it is just getting started. Just a warning, there are some adult themes and the romance is slow going but perfectly paced. You'll understand if you read it. Definitely one of my favorites so far. So far, I am pretty certain about three guys, but she is slowly building her harem, so there is a possibility for more. This author has recently started another series in this universe as well.) 3. Academy of Assassins by Stacey Brutger (Again only two books, but still wonderful. It is an urban fantasy series. I love this author. Another of series of hers is also on my list. From what I can see, the harem consists of 1 girl/5 guys). 4. Raven Investigations by Stacey Brutger (There are five books and it is urban fantasy. Love this series, but romance is slow paced. There is a bit of mystery as to who will be in the harem, but so far I am pretty certain about 4 guys. However, I like that there is a bit of uncertainty about who is going to be a part of the harem. That is unusual for Reverse Harem books where you are usually given all the guys up front) 5. Seaside Wolf Pact by C.C Masters (Third book just recently published. It is about werewolves/wolf shifters. One girl/six guys. A very good series so far.) 6. Kit Davenport Series by Tate James (There are six books in the series and it is completed. It features 1 girl/ 6 guys. A unique twist on the Urban Fantasy genre. It would be remiss of me to not include this series because it is really popular with the Reverse Harem crowd. One thing to note, this author does not shy away from sex, so if you are uncomfortable with that than I wouldn't recommend this series. However, I wouldn't categorize this series as erotica, because this author does such a fantastic job of building her world and the sexual aspects add to the world, they don't take away from it. P.S- This author has recently started a new series as well.) 7. The Veil Diaries by B.L Brunnemer (There are six books featuring 1 girl/ 5 Guys. This is another really popular series and it is superbly written. A member of the paranormal genre, it is about a girl who can see ghost and the boys who adore and support her. If you need instant gratification when it comes to the romance department, then this series is not for you. The girl is still not with any of the guys, but the chemistry is tangible. Warning: This book has some dark themes including PTSD and sexual assault. Also, unlike the other series I have mentioned, this one is not a part of Kindle Unlimited, with the exception of the first book, so you will have to pay anywhere from 2.99 to 4.99 for each book) 8. Curse of the Gods by Jane Washington and Jaymin Eve. (It is a complete series of 5 books featuring 1 girl/ Five Gods. This series is super popular, humorous fantasy series and you will know why as soon as you start reading. The main character is unique, quirky, and utterly hilarious. You will not be able to stop smiling while reading this series. I really recommend this series. Side note: Sexual aspects don't really come into play until the last couple of books and is not super explicit. 9. Seraph Black by Jane Washington (Completed series of 4 books featuring 1 girl/4 guys. By same author as Curse of the Gods, but the tone is much darker. Still, it is really well written and pretty popular. It easily sucks you in. Again, this series doesn't really have much sexual imagery until the last book or so. Still, I really recommend it. 10. The Grimm Cases by Lylas Oweds ( Second book will soon be publish featuring 1 girl/ 4 guys. This series is special for a couple of reasons. For one, it began as a story published on Wattpad and still is so you can read it for free (sereis is regularly updated). For another, the protagonist is super unusual, eccentric, and her thoughts have me doubling over in laughter, but there are darker sides to the story. The romance is slow, but perfectly paced and there are not sexual aspects, but the story is so well written you won't miss it. I highly recommend this series. Here's the link to it on Wattpad: 11. The Godhunter Series by Amy Sumida (There are 25 books so far. Yeah you read this right. It has an intriguing premise and I love the diversity of cultural mythology the author includes, especially the inclusion of Native American mythology. So far there are 7 guys, I think, but every so often this author includes another one into the harem, which admitted adds a bit of mystery and excitement to the series because sometimes you think sometimes you think a guy is in or out and then she surprises you. These books are a little more adult and should include some warnings like "sexual coercion" and "sexual assault", but not really that explicit in my opinion. The books are long, so don't expect to go through them in a couple of days.) 12. The Spellsinger Series by Amy Sumida ( There are seven books so far and 4 or 5 guys, I think. Like her other series the harem is slowly built throughout the series. In a similar universe as Godhunter, but not the same. One thing to note about this author is that sometimes I have a hard time differentiating between the protagonists in her series because there personalities are a bit too similar. There is another series by this author called the Twilight Court, but I didn't really care for it personally. It is completed with 9 books). |
