 Author has written 32 stories for Roswell, Popular, Buffy: The Vampire Slayer, All My Children, Mutant X, One Tree Hill, Degrassi, and Grey's Anatomy. So I spent a good two and a half years out of the fanfic world. I've read some here and there, but my job has pretty much taken over a large chunk of my life. The desire to write was pretty nonexistant. And then I started randomly watching Grey's Anatomy for the first time since like Season 2, and I got hooked on the adorableness that is Jessica Capshaw. Well, more precisely, her cuteness with Sara Ramirez. And just like that my drought seemed to be halted with the flood that was Callie/Arizona. I can't believe, out of all my pairings over the years, the one to break my writers block was a GA pairing that I've only been interested in for like a month. But I guess things happen that way, unexpectedly. I'm not going to knock it or question it, I'm just going to hope that it wasn't a one off fluke. I'd like to try and write more often now, even though my free time is still as limited as it was. Keeping my fingers crossed! In any case, using FF.Net for the first time 2 years gave me a selfish excuse to go back and read some of my own work. And now I'm totally missing Brooke and Peyton. I kind of wish I could catch the bug for them again and write something. I think they'll always end up being my OTP. (11/25/09) |
