Well, since I haven't updated this bio in about 3 years, it's definitely time to do so. I am a college student with a love for books, especially fantasy, science fiction, and historical fiction. My current obsessions are fairly tale retellings (short stories and novels), Harry Potter (though I'm a little annoyed with JK Rowling after reading the fifth book), Lord of the Rings (the movies), and Pirates of the Caribbean (Orlando Bloom is soo hot!). I also love cats, history and government (school subjects), and chocolate (is there anything else?). The authors I like best include Anne Bishop, Orson Scott Card, Diana Wynne Jones, Robin McKinley, Tamora Pierce, JK Rowling, Sharon Shinn, Sherwood Smith, Vivian Vande Velde, and Patricia Wrede. I also like long lists. :)

My main claim to fame on this site is my very important role as beta-reader for the lovely and extraordinarily talented Flame Tigress. I am one of her biggest fans, and honored to be her first critic. I encourage you to read her stuff -- especially if you like angst.

As you may have noticed, I am much more of a reader than a writer. I am actually an intelligent and thoughtful person, though that may not be so apparent in my works. My talents lie in analytical rather than creative writing. So the reason I continue to have so few stories is that I find myself a better critic than creator, and I am short on ideas. There may be another in the works, in case anyone is interested. I do like reviews, though, of any kind, and I would love to hear your comments on my work. And now I will resume waiting impatiently for the next Harry Potter book.
