S.K. Winter
Now, where to begin? Well, my name is... okay, let's just forget about what my name is. ^_^ My real pen name (the one I'm reserving for the imaginary day when I try to become published... note the world "imaginary") is S.K. Winter, which stands for Stephanie Kathryn Winter. It just came to me, out of the blue, one day, so I decided to use it. Most people call me Amanda/Mandy/Manda - but just because they do, does it mean it's my real name? I don't know. Probably. I just like to argue with myself... On occasion, my friends call me Zelda (do not ask), and my best friend Gwen likes to call me Genny or Meryl or whatever other name she can think of that sounds interesting. ^_^ So, welcome to - *looks around her* - here. Wherever that is. (I really have no idea - isn't that pathetic?) I now command you to take a look at everything that I've sent in to FanFiction.Net - whatever interests you, that is. The stories I write are more of the fantasy type, usually having dragons and other mythical creatures in them. There's almost always a strong element of magic, too, in my stories. If not fantasy, I love spoofs and crossovers, and anything filled with humor and nonsensical things. ^_^ I occasionally write normal stories with normal people from this normal planet Earth... but rarely. And if I don't feel like writing a story, I just write poetry. Mostly my poems are meaningful things that hardly anyone understands... but some are just random things that I wrote when I was bored. Almost all of my work happens to contain that favorite phrase of mine, "With Silver Wings". Do not ask why. I just thought of it one day, and I like it. I even created a whole poem with that title... but almost all of my work (except for some schoolwork or really, really old stuff) contains that phrase too. When I'm not writing, I'm usually reading. Some of my favorite authors (note the "some") are: J.K. Rowling, T.A. Barron, Lemony Snicket, Philip Pullman, Tamora Pierce, Susan Cooper, and Kevin Crossley-Holland. I also like reading National Geographic magazines, and the backs of cereal boxes while I eat breakfast. When it comes to television, I like watching the Game Show Channel... mostly for Match Game (I am addicted to that show). I was born September 28, and am (as of today, May 6) thirteen years old. My favorite colors are (in this order): green, orange, purple, black, and yellow and my lucky numbers are 28 and 3. I am permanently insane, and my mind is very weird. I am very weird myself, come to think of it... So please... read my work! And review it too, because I love getting reviews. Thanks! |
