![]() Author has written 2 stories for Mistborn Trilogy. Unfortunately, due to several forms of writers block - the foremost being writers block (no duh right?) followed closely by college and work - I am currently on hiatus. But fear not, as the former Governor of California once said "I'LL BE BACK!". If you are in search of a beta reader, look no further. For you have found one, and I shall help you with your writing needs. I'm currently having my first run in with writer's block and I've decided that she is a raving bit- *ahem* Anyway, I know what I want to do, just not how I'm gonna do it, or what order it's going to happen in... so yeah. About Me I'm Dale I'm 19 years old and I practically bleed cynicism and sarcasm. Meh, [in my opinion] I'm not really all that interesting. I'm a broke college student with free time enough to come here and read. Aeronautical engineering and physics double major I love music and books. There's nothing better than curling up with a good book while listening to jazz or dubstep... (Wow, way to pick two similar genres *facepalm*) My favorite author is Brandon Sanderson closely followed by J.R.R. Tolkien and R.A. Salvatore. Favorite books in order are The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien, the Night Angel Trilogy by Brent Weeks, and the Mistborn Trilogy by Brandon Sanderson. PC gamer master race. Linux is better than a Mac or a PC. Star Wars is my childhood (which is being ruined by George Lucas (Stop remastering.) and Michael Bay. (I mean c'mon, first Transformers - which was an amazing movie, don't get me wrong - and now Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles?)), and I prefer it to Star Trek. I'm just more of a fast paced person, and whereas Jean Luc Picard will always have a special place in my heart, my favorite Star Trek is Star Trek: Enterprise (I love you Scott Bacula). Even though I'm in college I still read all the series I started when I was younger i.e. Artemis Fowl. I love those books so much. I personally am against the nook and kindle, books don't run out of batteries. I miss the 90s... Richard Dean Anderson is my hero, I love Stargate (SG-1 and Atlantis at least. Universe can go suck a-) and MacGyver. Anime/Manga/Manhwa preferences: I like most types of anime, and I have a weird attraction to harem anime. I mostly dislike horror (no exceptions) and historical (although I loved Rurouni Kenshin). I will also (probably) never watch Naruto/Naruto Shippuden (A.K.A. Angst the Anime). My manga prefs are almost the same, except im more likely to read a long ongoing manga than watch a long ongoing anime (I've only seen 10 episodes of bleach, tops. But I've read almost all of it). My manhwa (A manhwa is a Korean manga, it is usually read from left to right and is often in full color.) prefs are the same as manga. For all three though, I'm more likely to watch/read if it's completed. I went on a webcomic binge once, and now I'm reading around 20 ongoing webcomics. I suggest Questionable Content, the art sucks at the beginning, but you'll live. Sometimes I start judging other people, and then I remember that I can read and write Tolkien Elvish and Dwarvish, and then I realize I'm in no position to judge... "When life gives you lemons, make grape juice. Then sit back and watch the world wonder how you did it." I miss drumline, so much. I play the baritone, valve trombone, hand bells, bagpipes (almost), piano, marching baritone, marching cymbals, and I sing tenor parts. David Tennent... 'nuff said. Lastly, I love proof reading (I know, weirdest engineering major ever). I don't know why, I just do. And that's why I'm a Beta Reader.
