The Orville finds a Union science vessel destroyed by the Krill with only two survivors. Captain Mercer believes that this could be the work of treason, and asks Alara to investigate. One of the survivors, Ben, is not a Union officer. In fact, he doesn't exist on any records. He says that he's here to help, but Ben is hiding much more than what Alara is comfortable with.
