A short explanation: I like writing OC's. I just do.

If there is a place in Cannon for another character, I try to fill it -- gracefully. Not exclusively OC's, but mostly. I don't write AU stories, but stick to Cannon. I know who Mary-Sue is ( and please see "The Unstrung Harp") and do my best not to write her.

If you do not like OC stories -- DO NOT READ THOSE STORIES!

And now back to our regularly scheduled programme.

Old Story Stats:

"A Chance Meeting" is finally, after seven years, complete in the first draft. About half of the total chapters are complete to a satisfactory final version, and await the divided attentions of my beta-reader.

"Ravenna, Death Eater's Daughter" Has undergone a full revision and is also complete in the first draft and will be down until I have un-Sued and made it readable.

"The Siren's Song" will shortly undergo a change of title, and has a complete outline that now awaits my divided attentions, I have taken it down until then.

I have a small backlog of stuff to add to "Sun On The Water", once I get them revised and beta-read.

"The Magenta Chronicle" may be getting another chapter soon-ish, but it seems to be working better as an assortment of related one-shots , rather than a story all it's own.

New stuff:

I have a couple of short Christmas stories in the works that will hopefully be up and readable before next Christmas.

There is a Romeo and Juliet parody featuring D/G that I am working on, but it won't be finished anytime soon.

I also have a short Severus Snape one-shot that is nearly complete.

There is also a Mary-Sue parody bit in the works.
