Update on TMCBU/What Happened:

I've had a couple people ask me what is going on with TMCBU and why I reposted it/where all the other chapters went. I just wanted to clear everything up for those who read those old chapters.

Yes, you are not mistaken if you thought this story looked familiar or you could have sworn you read part of it last year. I did have TMCBU up a few months ago with about 12 chapters up. I did take it down, but I always had the intention to repost it. I just needed a fresh start where I could reedit everything.

When I first started writing TMCBU, I had everything planned out. I still do. But, as it does so often, my life got in the way. It was senior year and I already had enough stress going on without worrying about writing. When I did write, it felt more like a chore than fun. My writing quality suffered and I felt like I hit a standstill with the story. Every notification, no matter how well-meaning and encouraging, just stressed me out that much more. I hated the fact that I was posting every few months and that the chapters weren't even that great for the amount of time I had between the last one.

So, I deleted the story from fanfic.net and a03, with every intention to repost it when I had my life together again. I should have left a note to my wonderful readers, but I was too overwhelmed and didn't want anyone to convince me out of if. So, I'm sorry to those who had stuck with me for so long. I still love this story and these characters, but I couldn't handle keeping up with my writing. And I didn't want to just abandon it. So, I've reedited a fair amount, I have quite a lot written into the future, I have a wonderful beta to keep me in line and keep me from not writing, and my writing quality is back where I wanted it to be. So, I started to repost it.

I apologize about all the confusion or if it seemed sketchy at first. I honestly didn't realize that people would recognize it enough and wonder what happened. But, I promise that I am back and here to stay.
