Due to a quirk of my personality (at least I assume that's what it is), on the occasion that a bunny bites me with a "what if," I generally work out the possibilities in my head (usually while doing something boring, like work) until I'm satisfied I've explored all the interesting bits and move on to something else. Unfortunately, this means I don't write any of it down. There's a reason there's only one story posted here. : rueful smile : I have to be prodded to actually make a decision on "this is how the story went" and put it down for others to read. Actually, that's why I don't have much original fic posted anywhere, either.

Smart-alecky tee shirts & stuff: CDLauryl (CDLauryl.com) Cafepress declared my shop inactive and took what little I'd earned, so it's shut down now. If there's interest in a particular shirt, I could set up a print run.

I have become, for all practical purposes, a hermit. I still read, but logging on to post after a long day at work is too tiring. My college friends refused to try LJ (with the argument that FB had better privacy - how ironic). FB is too nosy, and my feed is over-cluttered with inane nonsense and overwrought hyperbole, which makes it hard to dig down to the rational posts. Twitter drives me up the wall just with its format/concept (you can follow if you want, but the only reason it's there is someone in eastern Europe signed up for a Twitter with my email address).
