![]() Author has written 5 stories for Prince of Tennis, and Bleach. Name: Hropkey (real name? You wish.) Who: A fairly random, over-ecstatic 13-year-old with a fetish for Shakespeare. (I blame my English teacher.) I've been literally obsessed with writing for the last two years after taking a writing course with CTY, and I'm currently attempting to write a novella, along with trying publish a few of my poems in an anthology. I live in California in a suburb near San Francisco that I absolutely hate. As soon as I can I want to move- possibly to San Francisco. Favs: Book: Criss Cross, Indigo's Star, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Romeo and Juliet, all the Harry Potter books, The Devil Wears Prada, The Nanny Diaries Movie: Harry Potter 4, Juno, Spirited Away, Waiting For Guffman TV: The Office, Cooking shows (don't ask why, I don't know myself), Project Runway Anime/Manga: Prince of tennis, Fruits Basket, Ouran, Beauty Pop, Death Note, Bleach, Kare Kano, FMA Fanfic pairings: (Prince of Tennis) SakunoEiji, EijiFuji, FujiOC, EijiOC, SakunoRyoma, KamioAnn, ShinjiKamio, MaruiKirihara, MaruiNiou, SakunoKirihara, SakunoMarui, SakunoNiou, NiouOhtori (blame Sandy and if you don't know who Sandy is, you should read more PoT fanfiction), OhtoriShishido, and many, many more (If you can't tell, I LOVE crack pairings. Like, adore.) Fanfic Writers: Sandilenia (because Maru and Haru just sounds better), Senzafine (GO READ THIS CORNER OF THE ROOM. NOW. It's seriously amazing), GSandM (Really, who doesn't love to see Rikkai tortured?), Luvracci (We adore each other's fics! It's awesome!) Types of Reviews: Those from people I admire. Really. I was ecstatic when Luvracci told me- TWICE- that she loved Volume. And ones with CC are good too. And when Sandy starts making up words for you, you know you should be happy. Fanfic Pet-peeves: "Blank and Blank are gay and..." Stop right there. Please. There is NO worse way to do a summary. Lemons. Please don't live out your sex fantasies through anime characters. Illogical shounen-ai. Shounen-ai is really fun IF it's well written and done in an awesome, believeable way. Bad fanfic. That's all that's needed to be known. (in PoT) "Exchange student from America" Why? Random Happy Moments That You Don't Need To Know About, But I'll Tell You Anyway 3/13/07- Steven and Jackson, two boys from English who I know for sure don't have crushes on me, complemented me on being really nice at the same time!! I turned into a tomato very, very quickly. 3/23/07- A couple things. -Marcel is such a dope. He really is, but that's why I luff him. In a totally platonic way, of course. He's completely terrified of our group of girls in Math and his incredulous look whenever he sees us gossiping never fails to amuse me. -After getting into a conversation last week about how I kill puppies (O_o) no one has been able to stop referencing it. In science: "Lightning is 10,000 degrees Farenheit." "That's also how hot the oven is that Jane kills puppies in." -Hannah is so, so tiny. Connor DRAGGED her along on a piece of paper. And a rope. It's complicated. 4/1/07- Happy April Fools Day! Too bad I can't pull any pranks cause I got sick this morning and couldn't go to Hebrew School, blegh. But my dad said he'd take me out to play tennis later and I have dance class tonight, so it's all good. 4/22/07- It was my birthday yesterday. Favorite part? Erika: O_o Why are Mitchell and Daniel going to the bathroom together? Danna: I don't know. They're not girls anymore. I nearly died, right then and there. Less than three my sister. Aaand on a completely unrelated note, no one will stop making comments about my "Texas is for Lovers!" T-shirt. It took Marcel about ten minutes to figure out what it meant, Anne said it should be "Texas is for Sluts!", and this random dude came up to me on the way to PE and said (I kid you not) "I love Texas!" Now that was creepy. 7/21/07- CHRISTMAS IN JULY. CHRISTMAS IN JULY. (Also, to readers of Water Stop: gomen! I'm a CIT at camp and have been for the last 4 weeks, and I've been too tired and uninspired lately to write. However, I'm not gonna be going swimming this week because I'm on my period, so I'm gonna use that time to write.) 7/23/07- A couple days ago, I gave one of my campers, Hailey, the link to my ff.net account. I was outside with B, Hailey, and Julia, making friendship bracelets. Hailey: I LOVED Volume. Not Water Stop so much, just because it was so confusing. What's your favorite story that you've written? Me: Um... Miso Soup, I guess. Hailey: nodnod Yeah, Miso Soup rocks. B: (completely unaware of what we're talking about) I like miso soup, I just don't like tofu... Me and Hailey: (die) 9/21/07- I don't care what you say- the Manga Club at school is brilliant. "Chibis are supposed to have really big eyes, so that they're cute. Insanely cute. If you saw anyone with eyes this big in real life, you'd run away." The whole presentation on the Bleach manga was brill. The order of the covers pretty much went Ichigo-Rukia-Hanatarou-Ishida-Hitsugaya-Gin-Chad-Kira-Urahara. People kept yelling out "spoiler!" during the whole thing. One of the girls had the most AMAZING necklaces- a Full Metal Alchemist blood seal, with gorgeous detailing. She was with her friend Connor, which led to one of the most hysterical moments ever. (room goes quiet) Claire: Connor, will you marry me? Connor: O_O... Claire: Sorry, I just had to see your reaction. Everyone: (dies) Ahaha, he's such a sweet guy. I talked to him in PE for a while and he's super cute- like, puppy dog cute, you idiots. A little dorky, but really sweet. And Stephanie (one of the club leaders) lent me five volumes of Loveless! I'm reading the last one right now. 10/19/07- Talking with Connor while running (and if you haven't read or watched all of Death Note, I reccommend you shield your eyes now): Connor: I CANNOT believe you didn't get the 6th and 7th volume! Me: Oh my god, they the local comic store NEVER stock it. And the guy in there on Mondays hates people who read manga, so I can't exactly ask them to stock it. Connor. I DON'T CARE. GET THEM. Me: GET THEM YOURSELF. Connor: I WILL. I'LL COME WITH A MACHINE GUN IF I HAVE TO. Me: (laughs) Good luck with that. Connor: But really, I want to know if he ever sees Ryuk after the series ends. Me: Well, he can't really, considering Ryuk kills him... Connor: He does? Me: Would you rather Light lives? Connor: (nods overenthusiastically) 11/4/07- Oh, I forgot to tell about this earlier, but I have a Hiroki Aiba lookalike in my Math and Science classes! His name's Kai Kondo-Bacon (that last name never fails to amuse me), and he has a voice like an angel and the best hair of anyone I know. (Seriously, you should see it. It's SUCH good hair. Catherine and Kaely? Yeah, they pet it. Me, I'm not nearly that bold.) It's pretty funny, though. The first time I saw him, the first thing I thought was "Wow! Fuji came to life!" Now he got a haircut, so he looks like Hiroki Aiba. 11/7/07- Me and Carrie the Ninja on AIM. jujujane103: they're fun. student holidays We have one this friday, but I want to spend a couple hours doing homework in the morning because I have projects and homework due next week, then go over to my friend's house and try to name her aunt's unborn baby. Carrie the Ninja: Are you going to arrive with a scrolled list that rolls out across the floor with thousands of baby names? That just might be amusing. jujujane103: Not quite. We ask her aunt for inspirational words then find names that mean that, whether they be Turkish, Finnish, or German. Trust me, it's ALOT more fun than it sounds. Carrie the Ninja: AND you're working with a time limit. ~_~ jujujane103: January 2nd! Carrie the Ninja: Better get to cracking on those names then! You might start a trend that will sweep the country. jujujane103: Yup. Every new baby born in the next three years will have a name that's Finnish or Turkish. Carrie the Ninja: You could put that on a resume! jujujane103: Yup. That and the fact I'm part of a group that's been raising thousands of dollars for charitable organizations. I wonder which one will be more impressive? Carrie the Ninja: Depends on who is doing the hiring. 11/1/08- Long time no update huh? I'm taking a mostly-permanent hiatus from fanfiction- sorry, you guys =/ I've been working on my novel a lot lately and it's eaten up most of my time, along with school and various other things. So, sorry you guys. I love you all. If you want to IM me I'm jujujane103 on AIM- I'd love to hear from you. But right now I can't really handle doing fanfic. |
