Finn Hudson is happily married to his high school sweetheart, Quinn, but then he goes away in 1941 to fight for the United States against the Nazis. On his way home to Quinn, he liberates a pretty Jewish girl, Rachel, from the horrors the Nazis left behind and begins to fall for her.
