Years after her adventure in the Labyrinth, Sarah lives a relatively normal life. That it, until an unexpected visit leads her to being pulled into events in the Underground that she wants no part of.

After Sarah returns home with Toby after defeating Jareth, all is not well for the Goblin King. Somehow, he's trapped in his barn owl form in the human world. With no way to turn back, Jareth has to learn to survive in the wild. Consulting a magical psychiatrist to get rid of his fixation on Sarah Williams, the Goblin King decides desperate times call for desperate measures. Sarah is grown and enjoying her life working for a book publisher and perusing little-browsed bookstores. Sarah is navigating life as a young professional, plagued by strange dreams and items disappearing from her apartment. She thinks the dreams are how her mind copes with the fact that the Labyrinth was real. A certain fae enjoys tormenting Sarah after his defeat.

Sarah now 23, has followed her ambition to Soho, London. While rehearsing to star in a West End Production, she begins to suspect that her flirtatious costar is not who he claims to be. On top of that, visions of a face she could never forget begin to plague her at every turn until she begins to wonder whether these visions are guiding her to her dreams or making her lose her way.

Sarah wakes up in the Labyrinth the day after she saves Toby. And the morning after that, and the next. Slow burn friendship-to-romance fic (if it ever gets that far)

While unbeknown to her, Sarah has succeeded in obtaining the one thing the Goblin King has desired for hundreds of years -power over the Labyrinth. I am devastated at the passing of David Bowie. I fell in love with his music but first discovered him as Jareth at the age of 14. Labyrinth had a profound effect on me & I wrote this with Labyrinth as the main theme with the undertones of the loss of our starman. This one is dedicated to you Mr Bowie wherever you may be...

Sarah is auditioning for her first musical, the only problem is she doesn't know how to sing. Hoggle suggests she take voice lessons from Jareth. In time Sarah starts to fall for Jareth which leads to trouble in the Underground.

What if Sarah was always the Goblin Queen? What if both she and Jareth could not recall this? What would have caused such an event to occur? Sarah is doomed to live a mortal life again and again with her immortal soul, unless she discovers the truth.

She'd said that he had no power over her but she was wrong. Now, three years later, Sarah finds herself up against the Goblin King again. But this time the stakes are different: she's now running for her freedom. And Jareth doesn't play fair. JS
