Author has written 7 stories for Legend of Zelda, and Harry Potter. Boy, I was hating that old profile more than I could possibly explain. I just sounded so naive and pathetic... though, I suppose I still am in some ways... Pennames: Dagger, Green-Beauty, Roaringpoet, Dorkpangs Age: For me to know and you to guess Haircolor: Constantly changes... I'm like a moodring Location: LetsGetLost, InMyMind Mood: Most likely pissed, since often plagued by writer's block Muse: a blob that rarely likes to become shaped; most often a spork of late 0.o;; Fanfic-love: Harry Potter, Zelda, Buffy Brief Blurb: I first joined fanfiction.net when I was... in my early teens (can't remember exact age). It's been about three years (I'm guessing here) since I've been on. I was, and still am to a certain degree, a major Zelda fan. I liked to create my own back stories for the Ocarina of Time, and I was using poetry to vent my frustrations with my own life, and made my own Zelda AU and lots of Zelda poetry. I stopped writing after a death of a friend, and it took awhile (okay, two years) to get out of my depression. Like all real people, I had to go on with life, and have slowly come back to writing. Because of a certain friend, I've become more open when it comes to homosexuality in characters, so expect a lot of the characters to exhibit such sexual preferences, although I won't not write straight characters. I just think gay characters are more interesting (shrugs). When it comes to writing fanfiction, I like to stay as in character as possible (even if I'm writing them as gay), and I don't go rampant with sexual behavior. I like to write it as more of a discovery thing. I never was one for romance novels, although I'm sure I could improve my love scenes if I did read one once in awhile. Anyways, enjoy reading what you can. Criticisms and Reviews are welcomed, in fact wanted. I'm an amateur author, so any constructive criticism would be great. Must Read Books (in no particular order): The Wayfarer Redemption Series by Sara Douglass Dead Witch Walking by Kim Harrison (all her Rachel Morgan books, really) The Harry Potter Series by J. K. Rowling The Song of the Lioness Quartet and The Protector of the Small Quartet by Tamora Pierce The Shannara Series (My favorite being The Druid of Shannara) by Terry Brooks The Dragon Queen and The Raven Warrior by Alice Borchardt The Black Magician Trilogy by Trudi Canavan Wizard's First Rule by Terry Goodkind Swan Song by Robin McCammon Green Rider and First Rider's Call by Kristen Britain The Dragonriders of Pern and On Dragon Wings by Anne McCaffrey Song in the Silence by Elizabeth Kerner The Clan of the Cavebear and The Valley of Horses by Jean M. Auel In one way or another, each of these books have greatly influenced my writing, so... read. You won't be sorry. Favorite Television Shows (I don't watch a lot of television... maybe four hours a week, if that. These are all shows I've enjoyed and have at least seen a whole season of.): "Heroes" created by Tim Kring (I've seen every one that's come out thus far.) I've got a competive streak in me that I'm sure I get from my dyfunctional family. So, best way to get me to write something? Give me a challenge in my Challenge Me forum. I'll check it as often as I can, and maybe someone else other than just me will pick up your challenges as well. Either way, it might just give me a way to conquer my current writing affliction -- lack of ideas. Also, you can ask me questions about my writing or about certain fan fiction universes in my Curiosity Didn’t Kill Me forum. | |||||||
