Well, not really an idiot but it got your attention didn't it? Anywho, I've gotten so much wonderful feedback on my humor story Twisted Letters. It's kind of funny that one of my shortest fics is my most popular, lol. Now, if you prefer to read in Chinese, vlucia (Who is marvelous) has translated TL for me. You can read it over here . From what little I can read of it, I seem to be getting a pretty good reaction over there, too. Yay!

Story Updates

07/28/10

Don't get exited, faithful readers, I haven't written anything new. I just realized that the only place I had explained my lack of writing was in the authors note chapter of A Beautiful Gift. The truth is, my readers, that my mother is gone. She died on January 30 in our local hospital. She was the light of our lives and the center of our universe, my ladylove, as I called her. I am trying to deal with her loss and, since she was an author and writing was something we always shared, I'm having difficulty picking it back up alone. This doesn't mean I'm giving it up, far from it. I just need some time to relearn how to do things without her beside me. Give me time, readers, I won't abandon you.

On a happier note, if you look below this section you will see I've added my favorite poem by E. E. Cummings. What I love about it is that, the first time you read it, you have no idea what it's saying. The more you read it, though, the more the layers of meaning are revealed. It's about life and love. How it goes by and how some people don't live it up, just get stuck in their ruts and don't take time to love, laugh, grieve, or notice this remarkable world we live in. Rather appropriate for this time in my life and I thought you all might like it, too.

Wow, was that a long gap between updates, or what? Sorry for the long hiatus, faithful readers, but my mother's cancer has kept me too busy to write, before now. I am happy to announce, though, that I was ambushed by plot bunnies who deftly went for my throat, resulting in not just one, but two chapters of A Beautiful Gift, this week!

In the new chapter 1 we find Simon desperately trying to get himself and River out of the Academy. This is angstful stuff, folks, and a bit graphic so be careful.

Chapter 2 introduces Mal and Serenity along with all the wacky hijinks of the pilot episode turned on it's head due to Simon's many changes. Poor woob, I am so mean to him.

I'm already working on Chapter 3. You can expect Dobson!trouble, Simon!angst, and Mal's terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day. Will Simon actually make it through the day without getting punched, this time? Wait and see.

Beyond Hearts - Kingdom Hearts drabbles I've written. Thanks to Aniron peded for the heads up about placing it under the Spanish filter. I'm such a ditz sometimes.

Happiness - Now this one I admit to being proud of. I have never before tried to write any Final Fantasy VII fic but I think I pulled of this character piece quite well. Cloud always was my favorite video game character. You gotta love a moody blonde. _
