As requested by the fans: Following the plot of Breaking Destiny, this series provides glimpses of the characters' lives after the Nightmare's War and before the events of the upcoming sequel. Mostly PG-the rating is for the occasional intimate chapters.

After the events of Breaking Destiny, the Doctor and Harry take Ganbri on what was meant to be a fun adventure. When it becomes apparent that they have arrived on the wrong day, the group find themselves caught in the middle of a revolutionary uprising. Worst of all, their actions during the war could either save or disrupt their own timelines, with potentially disastrous results.

The prophecy was clear. The Doctor's song would end that day. But the Master didn't know that, and even if he had, he had never been one to follow rules anyway. Now with his body breaking down from his sabotaged ressurection, he has to co-operate with the Doctor in order to stay alive. And with the drumming silenced, he realizes he must regain his old friend's trust.

The Gate was opening; the black arms stretched toward him and Pride. Ed knew he had no say in the matter. He would be pulled to this parallel dimension, alternate universe—whatever it was—and Amestris would be left to die. Truth merely grinned.
