My name's Joey and I'm a 17 year old author from Sunny Queensland, Australia. In between wrestling crocodiles and showing people how big my knife is, I write.

I started writing back when I was 14, and I actually got quite far with my story. I still have it on my harddrive, I call it my 300 pages of utter crap, but c'est la vie. I stopped the story once I got disheartened with the main character (I didn't like him) and realised that the premise of the story was needlessly complicated and drawn out. Back in those days I was really into writing and reading, but the minute I lost interest I just stopped cold turkey.

People said it was good then, and soon I started using my (meagre) storywriting skill to write fanfictions for online comics... (they sucked too)

So I kicked the writing habit at 15, and just let myself go, I guess I must've lost touch for writing in all that time and I'm probably not very good a writer anymore. But now that school's finished I'm hoping I can write fanfics for something I really like (Fire Emblem!)

I'm still trying to dream up a story I can write about. Until then I'll read all the skilled work of my peers for inspiration. ^_^
