Talimeeka is a fourteen-year-old obsessive Harry Potter fan. She first got into HP in the third grade when a friend of her Dad's recommended it to her. She was instantly captivated by the story and went on to read the other two books that were out at the time. In October 2002 she became obsessed when she typed the words Harry Potter in a search engine and discovered the world of HP Internet fandom. Today she has read each book over ten times, writes fanfic, and spends excessive time on SugarQuill.net. Her biggest hobby is reading and writing and is also a big fan of Lord of the Rings. Her other favorite books include the His Dark Materials trilogy, anything by Sharon Creech and Artemis Fowl. She also loves cinema and her favorite movies besides HP and LotR are Pirates of the Caribbean, You've Got Mail, and Legally Blonde. Her other hobbies include biking, swimming, DVDs, shopping, hanging out with friends, skiing, playing the violin, music, IM, and generally having fun. Talimeeka hopes to either teach or own an independent bookstore someday. She currently lives in Florida with her parents, younger sister Alex, and her dog Jamie.
