My name is Andie. I'm a southern girl who woke up one day in rural North Dakota with a wife and daughter. I'm a busy grownup but tend to fall back on my love of fanfic in times of stress or boredom. If I was a more dedicated writer, I'd be an author in real life. One day perhaps.

My favorite fandom (and the only one I write for) is Harry Potter and my OTP is and will always be HG/SS. I do enjoy Harry & Draco, Dean & Seamus, Hermione & Draco, Sirius & Remus, Ginny & Luna, and any pairing, really, that is well-written and not too silly. I can't seem to get on-board with Harry falling in love with the Giant Squid. XD

I have been a Harry Potter fan since I began reading the series in 1999, right after the release of PoA. In the nearly 20 years since I first read "Mr. and Mrs. Dursley, of number four, Privet Drive, were proud to say that they were perfectly normal, thank you very much" I have reread and/or listened to the books more times than I could possibly count. I have passed on my HP love to my daughter, have met some amazing real life friends through our mutual love of the series, and even gained a sister-in-law because of Harry Potter. I have always been drawn to the character of Severus Snape and have been adamant of his innocence since first reading GoF. Hermione Granger is one of my all time favorite female fiction characters and I have never quite understood what she would ever see in Ron Weasley. Thus my slight obsession with the HG/SS ship was born. To me, they make perfect sense.
