- Reason for Obssession -

If you've seen my stories, then it probably goes without saying that I'm a huge fan of Kingdom Hearts. Why, you ask? That's easy- it's simply a brilliant game (or games). I've always preferred role-playing anyway, but the storyline in this one really caught my attention. It's not just about saving the world, it's about trust and friendship and finding yourself. The entire cast is easy to fall in love with. Every character has depth and is realistic to some degree. Sora with his curiosity and taste for adventure, Riku's inner struggle with darkness, even Roxas and all the Nobodies searching for the meaning of their existence. Most of all what drew me to this series though was the display of friendship between the characters. They'd do anything for eachother.

Which brings me to my favourite two chracters of the series. I don't know, maybe I just love minor characters or something. But I adore Replica Riku and Naminé, despite their short roles in the story. I immediately fell in love with the two whilst playing Chain of Memories. Naminé, in all her quiet melancholy I think truly deserves someone to care for her. She was isolated and trapped by the Organization so I find it hard to blame her for her meekness. And despite the Replica discovering his memories of the girl were fake- he still fought to protect her. She practically smashed his heart to pieces and as stated by Marluxia, he should've been nothing more than a broken doll. But he clung to the shards of memory that remained and he rose again to defend her. Now that's dedication.

And I was thoroughly heartbroken when his death came about. I was even more disappointed with his role in the manga (though at least he didn't die that time). He was turned into a sort of comic relief character, though that may have something to do with the age range of the manga. But anyway, I decided, hey:

I'd give him a real story.

CLONE- Alternate Universe (sort of) - Rumours are buzzing around Twilight Town that the worlds' first genetically cloned human is going to be attending one of its schools. But Naminé isn't too concerned with this gossip- that is, until she stumbles across a silver-haired youth with a dark secret which sends everything spiraling out of control. Naminé x Riku Replica

Heartache- The shadow of Kairi and the copy of Riku, bound together by a single promise. They walk a path of broken hearts and shattered dreams and try their hardest to find something real. Update: Hello everyone, again I'm really, really sorry for not being able to update. Life is crazily busy at the moment. I don't know when I'll be able to write up the next chapter for CLONE, but I'll try to make it soon. Thank you anyone that is still reading. I really appreciate it. x
