She couldn't wait, she had to tell him, even if it was 3 o'clock in the morning. Caskett.

Everything feels heavier after cases like this. The bag over her shoulder pulls at her muscles, her neck aching with the weight of the files she needs to go over for tomorrow, and her back a solid knot from sitting all day. Sitting and staring at the murder board, willing something to pan out.

Set fairly early on in S4. Uh-oh. Beckett inadvertently makes a move on Castle. Now what?

Just what are Castle and Beckett going to do while she serves out her suspension at the beginning of season 5? Many of us probably have a good idea, but you may not know just how quickly Castle and Beckett start experiencing their firsts after those oh so suggestive words are uttered.

Sometime in the next ten minutes she is going to kill Lanie, because she is currently perched on a bar stool in a Miss Santa costume. Unashamed Christmas fluff, with little plot and less excuse.

Season four fic, set shortly after Once Upon a Crime. A misunderstanding makes the green-eyed monster rear its ugly head.

She wanted him. She wasn't supposed to want him. He was her partner. Castle was her partner. Based off of the SVU fic "Ropes" by MaddyM.

"Castle, I said legs!" Alternative scene for episode 4x06, 'Demons'.

"I brought dinner. I didn't know what you felt like so I got sushi, I got some Italian, got some Thai, even grabbed some hot dogs." He offered proof that what he said was indeed true and her lips turned up in a smile, even though her head ducked, the loose strands of hair falling to shield her face. Alternative ending to Sucker Punch. Two Shot.

He's left sitting on a swing in the park that has shaped so very much of his adult life. Rick can't remember how they decided that these swings were theirs, that every significant moment of their relationship needed to play out with them as a witness. One shot of what could be the final scene of Castle.

Katherine Beckett had options. Lots of options. Socially acceptable options.
