Happy New Year! Have a good one!

I'm college drop-out who likes to think that she can write. I'm supposed to be very smart, but I hate school, and also had a total emotional breakdown, so I decided to move back home, which helped very much with the whole not-crying-everytime-a-sad-song-comes-on-the-radio thing. I'm a very solitary, hermit-type person. I have a very close family, several dogs and cats, and a few really good friends. I live in Alaska, and don't think I could ever live anywhere else. I love it here, and aside from the shame that our governor brought us, I wouldn't trade it. I'm often way too loud, especially when I'm happy, and can sometimes be described as "nice." Or funny, which is good, cause I'm not exactly a looker, so funny means a lot to me. Most of the funny comes from being sort of brutally blunt. My little sister's always yelling at me to think before I say shit, but I consistently fail in this endeavor. Some people (but not as many as you might expect) find this quality offensive. Others enjoy it.

When it comes to Fandom, I:

Like:
CSI: Grissom/ Sara.
Harry Potter: Harry/Ginny, Hermione/Ron, Tonks/Lupin (sob). I'm partial to A/U stories, and stories that disregard Sirius and Dumbledore's deaths, especially re-writes and back-in-time fics.
Inuyasha: I ship Kagome/Sesshoumaru mainly. I do not like A/U in this category.
Pushing Daisies: Chuck and Ned are too adorable for words, and I love everyone else, too. Emerson makes me giggle inanely at least once per episode.
Tin Man: Could have been better, but still like it. I generally read DG/Cain, but I'm flexible.
Twilight: A/U fics.

Dislike:
Harry Potter: Harry/Draco, Harry/Snape, Sirius/Remus, Ginny/Draco, Harry/Hermione, most slash. I'm far from a homophobe, but slash very rarely flips my cricket. Manipulative!Dumbledore. At least in the practically evil way that people seem so fond of making him. I, personally, think that while Dumbledore has made a lot of mistakes in regard to Harry, and is flawed as all we fellow humans are, he's still a fundamentally good guy, and people who put the hate on Dumbledore piss me off, A: because it's ridiculous, and B: because it's so totally out-of-character!
Inuyasha: Naraku/anyone, rape fics, fics where the male lead is all "she's in heat!" and they suddenly start boinking like rabid bunnies.
CSI: Grissom/Heather, Grissom/Sofia, and Grissom/Catherine, especially.
Pushing Daisies: There is absolutely nothing that I don't love about this show.
Twilight: The actual books (HATE!), and the movie. Many fanfics are acutally better than the books...
ABC: For killing Pushing Daisies. I cried. I HATE them.
