A medley of unconnected drabbles focusing on James and Lily.

You mean to say that Potter's family is coincidentally staying across the street from our beach house for the summer, Mum and Mrs. Potter are now randomly best friends, and they expect me to hang out with that git for two months? You've got to be joking. (Even worse? There's a sequel.)

Lily wanted to know why Sirius hated her. Sirius was more than happy to give that information and not withhold anything that may cause James to, say, punch him in the face, IF he was listening. Oneshot.

In order to appease his mother - and escape the clutches of Octavia Talbot - James must request the help of the one person who would never do him a favour ... or would she?

Even before they were a couple, they always seemed to spend Halloween together. Series of oneshots.

"He tells her that he loves her laugh, her hair, and her mind. He tells her that she's beautiful when she's angry and when she's sad, and she's absolutely stunning when she's happy. And when she smiles at him and calls him by his first name he feels as though he could face a Hungarian Horntail wandless, because he loves her." Eight ways James tells Lily he loves her.

She was dramatic. He was dynamic. She was precise. He was impulsive. He was James, and she was Lily, and one day they shared a kiss, but before that they shared many arguments, for he was cocky, and she was sweet, and matters of the heart require time.

Upon finding an old drawing from her childhood, Lily Evans spends an afternoon at Hogsmeade talking to James Potter, and trying to make sense of her jumbled thoughts as she contemplates on her relationship with him and his influence on her, her failed relationship with her sister, and the level of acceptance she'd come to reach, relating to both. Might become a 2 or 3 part story.

James is getting married and Lily goes to the wedding. This is an AU drabble inspired by BC Daily's Commentarius and Taylor Swift's 'Speak Now'.

Because when all efforts at making the rounds schedule fail, what else is there to do but open a few Butterbeers and simply talk. It's here, in the Head's Office, that both Lily and James finally get what they need.

Did this for a Lily/James Valentine's exchange and it ended up a lot longer than I intended! The story of how Lily's patronus ended up as that particular form...

Part I of in-progress trilogy [6th year]: The thing about being Lily Evans and James Potter was that you couldn't do anything without everybody else saying something about it.

No-one thought to tell Lily that Charlus Potter had passed away. She'd only met the man once, at the beginning of the Christmas holidays. When she boarded the Hogwarts Express at the end of the same break, she expected to find her boyfriend in high spirits, fresh from the seasonal festivity of home.

Lily's hair was red. That was the first thing James noticed about her.

James tried to talk himself out of it, to tell himself that what he was planning was a bad thing to do – that Lily would not be happy with him in the slightest – that it was invasion of her privacy. But as James contemplated these thoughts, he was at the same time reaching for the quill that Lily had been writing in her diary with only minutes before.

Seventh year wasn't quite turning out as planned. Lily Evans had always hoped she'd be Head Girl someday, but she never thought she'd be working with James Potter, and she certainly never thought she'd find herself falling for the mischievous young man.

Drabble. Lily discovers what the smell in her Amortentia means.

James comes up with a nickname.

The Three Broomsticks is the setting for five significant scenes in Lily and James's relationship.

"I think you're an arrogant, selfish pig, and I think you'd be doing both of us a favor if you just left me alone!" Potter stared at me for a moment, an unreadable expression in his hazel eyes, before uttering a single word: "Okay." J/L, Lily's POV.
