Time for an update... ('09)

As you might have seen, I haven't been updating my stories in a while. That does not mean that I have given up on them. However, Dangerously in Love was an attempt to write a relatively short story, it however turned into a "book", without the details. In other words, I am not happy with my writing there. In addition to that the last three Tomb Raider games have brought changes when it comes to Lara's "room mates" which I would have included, had I written the story a bit later. But, everything that affects DiL also affects Tempting Darkness, so I am in a real mess. So before you can expect updates on TD, you will get a brand new version of DiL.

In addition to these creative problems, my real live does not leave much room for writing.

Here's the stuff that hasn't changed (much)

What I like:
Tomb Raider, Tekken (Kazuya, Nina, Asuka, Jin, Hwoarang, Miharu), Battlestar Galactica, Star Trek, Star Wars, X-Men, Buffy and many more.

about me:
English is not my native tongue so be gentle with me. I am mainly writing about Tekken and Tomb Raider. My stories will be - unless otherwise stated - action adventures with a bit of humour (at least for those who understand my kind of humour) and a bit of romance.

My "finished" Stories:

TR/TEKKEN Dangerously in Love: This was the first story I've ever worked on seriously. It is finished. (Pairing "continued" in Tempting Darkness .) As I have mentioned above I am not happy with what I've published and am currently rewriting the whole story.

TR/TEKKEN Stone of Eternity (Dangerously in Love Prequel): As I plan to rewrite Dangerously in Love completely, this story is basically dead. I will integrate much of it as flashbacks in the new version of Dangerously in Love. If there are any parts you particularly like, let me know. ;-)

TEKKEN Mishima Road Trip: Mishima Road Trip is finished, although Jan (my co-author in this story) and I are working on a piece called Mishima Boat Trip.

My current Stories:

TR/TEKKEN Tempting Darkness: This is a sequel to DiL, but can also be read seperately. This time Kazuya will come to Lara's world. This story also includes Kurtis Trent from TR - oh-oh, trouble. - Minor changes will be done to this story before it continues. But all this will happen after I've rewritten DiL.

TEKKEN Devil's Legacy: For some time I have been working on a piece about a character I have made up, Jin's twin sister. This idea formed in my mind when Askua was announced. When it turned out that she wasn't Jin's sister I created this new character. After several problems with the beginning of the story I completely changed my mind about it. It will now be a piece about the Mishima family in general and start at the beginning, it will incorporate an unreleased oneshot about Kazuya and Lees relationship during the time when Kazuya was head of the Mishima family, and a translation of my german story Is This Love? and its continuation, I may even decide to integrateLike Fire and Ice. This piece has already 33.000 words but I am not ready to release anything yet.

TEKKEN Time To Try Again aka Silent Assassin: I am seriously stuck, I have a general idea but currently I have trouble fitting it together. Besides I have used some Kazuya/Nina ideas in my 2nd Tournament story (which is in German) (no changes in progress, although this is my favourite Tekken pairing, so you might get lucky)

TEKKEN Like Fire and Ice: This is a piece about Lee Chaolan and Kazuya Mishima when they were teenagers, will probably be integrated into Devil's Legacy.

In German/ Auf Deutsch:

TR/TEKKEN Dangerously in Love: Übersetzung ruht derzeit, da ich DiL neu schreiben möchte.

TEKKEN Paul's und Kazuya's Tagebuch: Da arbeiten wir zur Zeit nicht wirklich fleissig dran, wir hatten zwar noch eine gute Idee, aber Jan (für Paul zuständig) hat keine Zeit und ich kann es alleine nicht durchziehen, da es um Paul geht.

TEKKEN Is This Love? Hierbei handelt es sich um meine Version des 2. Tournaments Kazuya/Jun. An dieser Story habe ich viel geschrieben, allerdings fehlt mir am Anfang ein ganzes Stück, bei dem ich nicht genau weiss, wie ich es umsetzen soll. Mengenmäßig habe ich die Hälfte von dem was ich geschrieben habe veröffentlicht.

Future Projects:

TR Mexican Treasure: Whenever I manage to get rid of my other stories, I will pick up this story again. It will change completely due to a new view I got of the location.

TR/TEKKEN: I have even begun a third story, that will follow Tempting Darkness. Another story where Lara travels to Japan, this time she just wants to spend some holiday time there. No title yet, I have an intro, but I won't publish it, before Tempting Darkness is finished.

TR/TEKKEN (deutsch): Da ich wohl nie dazu kommen werde, Tempting Darkness zu übersetzen und Dangerously in Love sehr lange dauert, habe ich mir überlegt, ob ich nicht eine komplett neue Story mit Kazuya und Lara auf deutsch schreiben soll. Diese Story schließt an Tomb Raider Legend an. Bisher habe ich nur einen Anfang und eine Idee. Die Story hat noch keinen Titel.
