My characters are usually a little oc and this is how i change them

Goku: I love his aditude toward life I don't think he's dumb or simple minded just impossibly optomistic and chosses not to look to closely at the bad side of things. I tend to make him a bit schizphrenic and have a good side and bad side I think its pretty tight
Gohan: He was really dissapointing. when he was a kid he was the shit but now high school Gohan bites. I make him just little more sayian like.
Vegeata: I don't change him to much he's still a badass and everything
Krillin: I always thougth that he was quite funny and pretty brave all things considered I just never liked his frantic additude so a made him a bit blasse about most thing that would make him throw a fit.
The girls I make them more or less the same and Trunks and Goten are perfect the way they are

My favorites fanfics are some of the best like "Stupid Monkey,Misadventures of Videl and Gohan and Aginst All Odds there are plenty others.
