Walter and Paige reflect on what could have been following his accident, and develop a new appreciation for what is.

Post "Postcards from the Edge." Because Walter was still recovering from the injuries he sustained in the wreck, Cabe asked Paige to take the day off and distract him from work while the other geniuses handle the influx of cases. Knowing that the garage was most likely the last place Walter should be if Cabe had wanted him to keep his mind off of work... [[more inside]].

After waking up in the hospital, Walter makes some hard decisions. "I will keep it strictly professional from now on. For the sake of the team and for my own sanity". But as circumstances change, and the team manages to get washed up on a deserted island, Walter's struggle for control over his own emotions becomes harder by the minute.

Paige arrived at the cliff. What does Walter want to tell her? Is this a goodbye? This story takes place in 1x22 Postcards from the edge and it sums up what I'd like it happens in the episode (even if I don't think it will) with a twist at the end, inspired by a comment on tumblr on what could happen at the end of the episode.
