Hiya, I'm Jess and I love historical fiction featuring strong women! I like to see the power of a woman develop as much as it can in an era where it was difficult to do such a thing. I love the show Victoria even though it's not too accurate. I have begun watching Reign, and even though it is not very accurate either (and teen-like) it has entranced me the same way that Victoria has! The only other fanbase I'm in is Warriors, which is my first love from when I was just a babe and they were the books that got me in to reading - truly my first love.

I absolutely adore alternate history, and at the moment I'm planning two stories, one on Margaret, Maid of Norway if she survived, and one on Gloriana, a fictional twin sister to George III who becomes Queen after her mother dies in labour (I'm still trying to think of a way to off her sister!)

I am a pretty good editor, apart from the fact my grammar can sometimes be all over the place. So if you have a historical fiction with a queen regnant (or equivalent) I'll probably be the first to sign up to nitpick at it!
