Taylor gains powers in the locker; this much is familiar. But the power she gets, and what she does with it, begins to change things around considerably. Faced with the pressure of the power she has, and official apathy, she must make her own decisions, and take a different route to achieve her goals. There will be trouble.

Not every problem can be solved by stabbing it repeatedly. In which Taylor has a different power, because she is a different person, and the consequences therein.

Some capes manifest powers that are very different from their shards, and some capes receive something very similar to the original. Taylor carries the Administrator shard, used to process and control informational systems with no upper limit. What happens when the powers she gets are a lot more direct than bug control?

Taylor gets the power to go into works of fiction and come out with new powers, pets, and items. This is my first fic. The quality and average post length improve as it progresses. I do not own Worm, or any of the other series referenced or quoted in this fic, I am making no money off of this. Story is dead, but the last post includes cliff notes and the intended ending.

Summary: Brockton Bay has an amazingly temperate climate. But sometimes, winter storms come through anyways. Quarrel was allergic to bee stings, and now Taylor is the Butcher - but the Administrator shard is strong enough to hold off the voices in her head, for now. What will Taylor do, when circumstances conspire to keep her on the wrong side of the law?

Good deeds always matter

Taylor takes a different tack in dealing with the bullies very early on in story canon. This ends her up in an unusual situation. What she gets out of it is up to her ... and Madison.

Children grow up under the guidance of their parents. They learn all manner of lessons from them such as love and responsibility. It is no different for parahumans, whom offspring often inherit similar powers. Still, powered or not, you are usually stuck with the folks that birthed you. But what if your parents are interchangeable?
