Lily Evans is unsure of James Potter's tall tales when they run into each other one rainy night. He claims to be looking for his wife and son, both cursed to Lily's world by a wicked witch from his magical world. Lily's own son Harry is enchanted immediately by James' stories and she finds herself thrust into a mysterious adventure that might lead to her own happy ending.
