Well crafted universes, I love the little details that build up the setting

Fic Hates

Generally, shoehorning relationships between characters who don't work outside of whatever contrivance used as deus ex machina. Examples include: Draco/Hermione, Snape/Hermione, Snape/Harry (thats his lost love's son folks, creepy) and the Marriage Law plot device (in Potter fics)

Weak settings. Weak premise (hello, potion accident time travel)

Bad grammar/spelling (no disrespect to those where English is not a first language)
