 Author has written 2 stories for Sookie Stackhouse/Southern Vampire Mysteries. Hey there! Not Exactly Dead is the first fan fic I've ever published. It started out as something completely different that stirred up a crapload of questions when I began wondering about the motivations and dispositions of the characters. I, and I'd venture to guess quite a few others in the SVM/TB fandom, love to root for a Sookie who's a bit more street smart and less naive/gullible when it comes to certain things and people. *coughBeelcough* So I started thinking.. What would have to happen in her life for her personality to change so much? That led to, "what if Michelle survived?" Which in turn, became "why would Corbett allow her to do that sh*t to his kids?", which snowballed into this "what if Corbett was turned?" fic. It's been a fun, rewarding, and at times difficult ride so far but I'm enjoying it and I hope you will too. I apologize in advance for any grammatical, spelling, etc, errors in the fic. I'd also like to thank my wonderful betas, xQueen Nothingx and kmb3, for their amazing ideas and incredibly insightful input on all things SVM. xQueen Nothingx is a treasure trove of SVM facts and writing techniques and kmb3 can outmaneuver Bill and QSA's evil plots any day with her quick thinking.
