Author has written 2 stories for Pokémon, and Persona Series. Hiya! Guess who's back three years late? (Spoiler alert, Calculus bit the dust before I could) For anyone who has been here in the past, I'm terribly sorry about that. Things got hectic in my personal life for a long while, between school/miscellaneous endeavors. It's finally starting to settle down a bit, with this upcoming school year being my final year. However, there were casualties along the way - my writing skills (hopefully I'm just paranoid about this one) and worse yet, the drive to finish that first fanfic, Crossing Over. It's official - Crossing Over is in hiatus/limbo. :( However, I'm still raring to go at trying my hand at making stories that, hopefully, a good majority of people will enjoy reading! I'll be writing mostly one shots for a good while until I feel comfortable again. I've said this ever since I joined back in 2010 and I'll say it again, I love constructive criticism! If something is wrong, please help me become a better writer and point it out! No one likes drudging through a story with glaring issues! Now, back to writing! fanficnugget The Story Corner! This section is dedicated to giving a bit of information regarding the latest release(s), whether it be a bit more background information, my random thoughts, or other miscellaneous things!8/16 ~ What's an Idol? My latest submission is a one shot centered around Rise Kujikawa, a character in Persona 4/Golden who is a former Japanese teen idol who quits the business due to a bit of an identity crisis... (TL;DR: she wasn't sure if idol personality Rise was the real Rise.) After some dungeon crawling/saving Rise/social links, she realizes all the different parts of idol Rise are an actual part of her as well, and decides to go back to showbiz in the spring of the year the game ends. Her comeback concert is mentioned in Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, but during said game, she was still hard at work preparing for it. I was curious to see if I could write something plausible that would be believable, and whether or not I could describe past events without a flashback section as I've done in the past for other things I've written. Still shaking the writing rust off, unfortunately. One thing I may do within the span of a week or so is to write a satisfying ending to this one shot, even though it's a one shot. The abruptness of the ending bothers me, and I feel as though I'll come up with a solution soon! |
