Hello! My name is Emilynn (Emmy like the award and Lynn as in Lynn and then combine the two.) I have been a lurker on this site for quite a while and have decided to finally breakdown and get my own account. I have already written a few things and may consider posting a few. I am about to start my senior year of high school and do not have loads of time along with taking dance three days a week. However, I love to write and sometimes that will take precedence with the other things of my life. Not necessarily a good thing, but it is still the truth nevertheless. What I love even more than writing is reading. I love to read although I can be very picky on just what materials I choose to spend my time reading through. I love fiction novels and read a lot of YA stuff. Which is why I am so picky on what I read. Let's just say that YA material can more often than not follow a certain criteria so that you end up reading essentially the same book time and time again. My favourite book is "Three Little Words" which was written by Ashley-Rhodes Courter. I started and finished it in the same day. I guess an important thing to know about me would be that I have dyslexia. I have worked hard in trying to overcome it throughout my years but it is something very difficult and cause to make proofreading near impossible. I do try though. However, if you are ever to read my stories, please understand that I do work hard when it comes to proper grammar and spelling. Now, a very important thing to know about me would be that I love Bones! I think it is one of those rarities of a show that do not come around often. It has its flaw, that is for certain, but it is also something amazing. What is even more spectacular is how all of these fan fiction writers can make something so brilliant out of the characters that the authors created. I personally think that there are some stories that are better written and more in character than the show itself. Not to undermind just how great this show is though. There is a beautiful balance of drama and comedy. Along with the weekly crime procedural and all of the science every week. What makes the show though, is the characters. I could go on for a while but perhaps I should stop. |
