Well. First off, my writing on fictionpress is better than the stuff here, so you really should go check it out. Unless you don't like reading poetry, and in that case, don't. To completely change the subject, I'm a half Canadian half American firfteen year old girl who loves her cat above almost all else. That's just one of my obsessions, and they also include reading, riding horses, listening to music, running, and writing. I also snowboard, play tennis, badminton, and volleyball, run in crosscountry, and I used to play the piano. (I don't anymore, and don't play in the school band 'cause the teacher is a complete... um... yeah).

Other things. My most used talent is joking with my friends (erm, being sarcastic?), but I can also devour a large amount of chocolate cake without worrying about my weight (I'm so lucky). I talk kinda weird, with a drawl, almost. I slur my words together sometimes, but I don't sound drunk. (That would be horrible, hehe.) My most prized possession is my cat (I said that before, didn't I? But he's not really a thing... would it be weird to call him a tiny person who can't talk?). I want to get a nose stud, maybe a really small diamond or something like that, but I'm not sure if I will. I live in Bellingham, Washington, which is just south of the American/Canadian border in the wayyyyy northwestern Washington (in the very corner), which is, in turn, in the wayyyyy northwestern USA (in the very corner).

This deserves it's very own paragraph. I lovelovelove the rain! (Which is a good thing, I suppose, because it rains A LOT here where I live!) I love watching it, I love hearing it, I love the smell of it, I love how it makes my hair soft, I love how my cat runs inside right away when I open the door so he doesn't get even more wet than he already is, I love how... You get the picture, no?

I've got two older brothers. One is moving away to college in August, and the other is going to be a junior in high school. (personally, I like my older one, who is eighteen, better than my seventeen year old one) My parents are divorced, but both live within range of one school district. (Thank god!)

My personality? I'm quiet around strangers. I'm extremely uncomfortable around people in their teens and early twenties (Don't as me why, as I've no idea), I love joking around with my friends, and I'm unusually sarcastic, some people say, and I can be just plain mean to people who are mean to my friends. I'm fiercely loyal and protective of my friends, probably because I don't have tons of them. I swear a lot, which I've tried to refrain from doing here. I don't usually enjoy talking about myself. (It sound conceited to me).

My favorite authors at the moment are Tamora Pierce, Sarah Dessen, and Jennifer Rarrdin.

Books I've recently read that I recommend are Outliers, a book describing why and how people are successful, written by Malcolm Gladwell, who has also written The Tipping Point and Blink. I have yet to read those, but Outliers is extremely fascinating. I also recommend Jellicoe Road, written by Melina Marchetta, about a girl who was abandoned by her mother. It has a story-within-a-story thing going on in it, and is very good.

My policy on reviews is pretty nonexistent. Anything goes, really. Flames, although not usually wanted, let me know when someone is unhappy with what I write, but that doesn't mean that I'll change the way I write. I usually laugh at the people who write flames. The best way to change the way I write is by constructive criticism, which is always appreciated. I welcome all people who write reviews, anonymous as well as not. (I sound so boring and dry!! It's horrible!!)
