We Hate: Mary Sues, Authors who update once every two years, Senseless flaming, Thieving authors, Cliche stories, the expected

We Want: Recognition, A thousand reviews for every story, To make a name for ourselvesOur thoughts on...

Yaoi~ Personally, gay porn isn't really our cup of tea. It just doesn't...sit well. Though, shounin-ai is to us as the proverbial cake is to the proverbial fat kid. And for those of you who don't know the difference...

Yaoi features the more...graphic concepts of a male/male relationship; as opposed to shounin-ai which focuses on the two males themselves.

If you think about what makes a good pairing, character developement plays a major part. And if you notice most of the fandoms we write and read for have the male characters much more fleshed out and tangable than the females. Take, for instance, the anime, Naruto.

In our opinion if there were to be any pairings Naruto and Sasuke would be the obvious choice. Firstly, their characteristics and backstories have been delved into such an extent, to where the entire show is based on their relationship and seemingly forever entertwining destinies. Whereas Sakura's backstory pales in comparison. (ie we don't even know her parents names)

Quite frankly after being exposed to shounin-ai and yaoi, we can't even sit through a het fiction anymore.Enjoy your stay in our nest.
