This is an AU story in which Daniel takes Sha'uri (Sha're) back to earth with him instead of staying on Abydos. The relationship between Daniel and Sha'uri develops as she learns to navigate modern American society. The first chapter is mostly a recap of the movie from Sha'uri's point of view.
