Pet Peeves in Writing- When: the word 'random' is used outside dialogue, because it has the power to destroy the seriousness of any fic, a number isn't fully typed out (3 instead of three), certain words (especially descriptors) are used too often, text or IM talk is used outside of descriptions of messages sent or received by characters, authors who interrupt the flow of their stories with little notes (especially when they add little to the fic and could easily wait until the end), and -this is where my hypocrisy shines through- poor grammar/spelling.

About Me? I'm not sure how my writing style would be described, but I have a taste for things including or alluding to violence that my parents think is a bit odd. I like to say things in ways and with words that most of my friends find confusing and I apply that to my little excursions into the world of story telling. I'm not sure if the confusion of my peers says something negative about their intelligence, our generation as a whole, or just the way that my mind works, but oh well. I like to think of myself as socially awkward and shy, because I am and because it's hard to tell others that I'm not when they can't hear me because I'm so quiet. I can be flighty and loose interest quickly so it's hard for me to finish stories properly or continue them so this if fair warning to anyone that might read something from me.
