 Author has written 1 story for Tales of Symphonia. What are you doing here? Not that I'm complaining or anything; it's nice to meetcha! I better make your time worth it since you've clicked on my profile... *Clock ticks* ...Hmm... Okay! I've got it. I'll tell you about myself first! Age: More than twenty years but less than thirty. Fandom obsession: Tales of Symphonia, ALL THE WAY! My love for the characters and story is endless. What I like to write: Mystery, fantasy, adventure and friendship; plot twists that make a reader gape and go back for a second read. I also love to read the exact same things. I like to write romance, but not as a main focus in a story. What I won't write: Lemons, incest, /insert other strange things\, or non-canonical gay/lesbian relationships. How long I've been writing? Since someone handed me a pencil and I complained it wasn't a pen. I worked toward a "pen license" and haven't looked back. But how long have I been "writing" writing? My first long story of more than 1000 words was a story called "Cat Tails" which involved all of my pets doing things while my family and I were asleep or out. The first chapter was called Sox in Boots. I was eleven. Recent ventures in writing: I have been writing an original novel series of five books called Gemini Warriors for more than a decade. I turned to fanfiction as way to put it away for a while so I would be able to see my errors in my writing and make my editing process smoother... and also because I had an idea that I just could not ignore! What I'm writing at the moment: Skewed Destinies- The Flames of Origin. It might -sound- like a crackfic in the description, but it isn't! It's my first official fanfiction (though I did write a sailormoon one way before I understood what fanfiction was). Skewed Destinies is basically the Journey of Regeneration with a lot of new twists and plot jumbles, a new world system called the Worldwide Survival Project and with characters merged into one person (side and minor characters too). The current world has no concept of love so the W.S.P is a survival program that the Church of Martel has conjured up.. and.. well, anything else I could say would be spoilerific. It's been really fun to write and it's surprising how well character back stories work in harmony and contrast with each other when you get thinking about it. The repercussions to combining character back stories have made the story develop in some ways that I did not see coming. I plot the BIG things, but 85% of the story is written chapter by chapter. The characters have definitely come to life and decided to drive the story and I really love writing it. With all that said, I know exactly where it's going and it will definitely be completed. You'll probably also (hopefully) notice an improvement in my writing as you progress through the story. Once it's fully completed, I do intend to go back and do some further editing using skills I've learned as I've written the characters along the way. Other planned writing for the future: One shots based on certain things in the Skewed Destinies ToS story that don't fit in the actual story. Without spoiling anything too much, some things include: A lengthy game of questions between two certain characters A short one-shot of a game of scrabble A one or two-shot about the "Ignorance is knowledge" creed. Some small drabbles or (more likely) one-shots of certain things that took place 4000 years ago. A 4th wall-breaking one or two-shot of different things I could have named the chapters and the characters of the story and how the characters feel about them.Tales of the Abyss/Symphonia crossover: I would love to do a Symphonia/Abyss crossover that is more heavily focused on the storyline of Abyss. I have some... interesting... ideas on how I could bend the plot line based on a combination between the two stories. Other slightly lesser game obsessions: The Zero escape series (9 hours 9 persons 9 doors and Virtues Last Reward)- These two games inspire me to write and work on storyline bending and plot twists. If you haven't played them, you really MUST. I guarantee you will not be disappointed if you love a good mystery, pseudo-science and/or characters that really get into your head. Dangan Ronpa- By the same creator as the Zero Escape series, the second game really got me loving it. Those that have played it will understand what I mean when I say the ending was amazing! Ace Attorney- I love examining the clues in these games and solving the riddles and find it helps when structuring the clues for my own stories. Trials and Tribulations is my favourite of the lot, but I also really enjoyed Apollo Justice. I like the bright personalities of all the characters in these games and how you often are told to see things in a certain way, only to discover later on through investigation that things are different than they first seemed. Other Tales games- I have played Tales of Symphonia and Dawn of the New World (the first is my favourite though); Tales of the Abyss, Vesperia, Graces, Xilia 1 and 2, Hearts and Phantasia.Top 10 Anime or manga I love (there are so many others I could put, but i'll keep it to 10.) Tales of Symphonia OVA. (The animation is beautiful!) Favourite characters- My favourite character in Tales of Symphonia is Kratos (because seriously how can anyone NOT like him?) HOWEVER- Since writing my fanfiction.. I must admit I am also a very big fan of Yuan! (The OVA makes them look amazing!) In Abyss: Jade was always my favourite. I did develop a soft spot for Luke and his interesting character development by the end though, and I really felt for Ashe. Graces goes to Hubert- I love his personality, character development and his blue hair! Xilia: I rather enjoyed Alvin's character. I guess I just have a thing for the mysterious mercenary types!! I loved Yuri's character in Vesperia too. I liked that he was an older character that was willing to do the wrong thing for the right reasons. I also love his relationship with Repede. His english voice actor is awesome. Hearts: I really like Beryl and her little sheep, haha. I think it's because she's a painter. I like her aspirations. Her character feels more well-rounded than some of the others to me. Ships: I don't ship one in particular. I like to start a story on a clean slate each time depending on the pairing involved and see if I can be convinced over and over that they should be together. I don't ship characters that are not canonically gay or lesbian (or anything else) in the same way I would not ship a gay/lesbian character as being all of a sudden straight. By this I mean that if a male character is obviously into women in the canon, then I can't easily get into a story that has them loving men. Pairings I like from Tales of Symphonia: KratosxAnna- Kranna (well duh!) I have also warmed to Kraine (Kratos and Raine). Also read a great YuanxRaine story. They're both half-elves. I can see them having a lot of interesting conversations. RainexRegal: I've read a lot of great stories with this pairing. What is great about this pairing is that they have very similar outlooks on the world and both want to strive to change it. I'd prefer Regal to remember his old love (Alicia) fondly but move on eventually. I think that is what she would have wanted. This means I also like RegalxAlicia. YuanxMartel (Martuan/Yuantel?) for the same reason as KratosxAnna. LloydxColette (Colloyd): I think they're really cute together, but sometimes my mood changes with whether they love each other like family or like actual love. It depends on the story. Either way, they mean a lot to each other and I love fluff between them, whether it be romantic or not. LloydxSheena- Shelloyd: They are not as similar as Lloyd and Colette, but variety is a spice of life. They have very similar beginnings in life and value family regardless of actual blood ties. SheenaxZelos (Sheelos): I like these two for a similar reason to why I like LloydxColette. I also like the influence they have on each other and think they could be a positive influence on each other and change each other for the better. ZelosxColette (Zellette?) They're both Chosen- they understand what it's like and probably understand each other. GenisxPresea: Just cos it's cute. I like a story that shows a progression of their transformation into a relationship. Other Tales pairings I like: JudexMilla, AlvinxLeia, HubertxPascal, AschxNatalia, LukexTear, ShingxBeryl. There are probably others, but I can't think of any that really stick out aside from these. I haven't read toooo many other stories other than these pairings from the other fandoms though.
