In the pilot episode there is a collie at the farm, this is the story of Madam Secretary season 1 from a very different point of view.

Dancing with him was all she needed to make her life complete. Two occasions when Elizabeth gets the chance to dance with Henry. With a little added Christmas magic.

Jason McCord is not as "blissfully unaware" as his family thinks in Tamerlane/Face The Nation. Mostly told from his POV, although some from Henry's as well.

Life in the state department is tough, Elizabeths masquerade is beginning to fall away; Iran changed her and the ones closest to her are beginning to catch glimpses of the person she hides behind her mask. Alison faces her own difficulties at school just like her mother did. This is not about what happened in Iran. This is about what happens in the heart of the McCord family.

Elizabeth has a day off from her job at the State Department and Henry has everything planned for their free time.

I was (and still am) in such need for more scenes about Elizabeth getting hurt in Iran (physically and mentally), so that's just me trying to fill in this need.

In order to save the world sometimes you've got to make some sacrifices. Unfortunately sometimes it costs more than it's worth. I really need more action on S1E16 when Elizabeth could have died in Iran. This is my take. Please read and review. Rating may change in the foreseeable future I'm not quite sure yet.

I am a bit haunted by the recent episodes Tamerlane and Face the Nation. This piece is a reflection on the events surrounding Elizabeth from a different point of view. I am amazed by the stellar writing of the show, but sometimes wish we could peek in-between scenes and see how other characters are managing things. Reviews are greatly appreciated.
